Around five years ago, his father became paralyzed and lost the ability to work. Previously a driver supporting his family with dignity, his illness brought sudden financial and emotional strain. Medical treatments consumed the family’s savings, and due to limited healthcare facilities in their hometown, they eventually moved to Karachi for better access to treatment. The challenges continued as the family lost its primary source of income, and at the same time, Aliyan’s elder brother began requiring lifelong dialysis after a serious health condition. Despite these hardships, the family remained committed to ensuring that their children continue their education, believing it to be their only path forward. At this critical time, support through Subah Sehar allowed Aliyan to continue his studies without interruption. A significant milestone was marked at PSRD High School in Lahore, where students with disabilities experienced a powerful shift from limitation to mobility. For many children at PSRD, movement has long been a daily challenge. Limited access to properly designed wheelchairs meant restricted participation in school life. This began to change as customised wheelchairs, designed to fit each individual’s size and physical needs, were distributed, enabling students to move with confidence, comfort, and independence. The impact was immediate. The room filled with excitement as students explored their new mobility. “Now I can study by myself… I can learn on my own,” one student shared. Another added, “Now I can play and race with my friends.” Adding depth to this moment was Agha Hasnain Raza, host in the video representing Niaz Support, whose presence reflected the emotional significance of the initiative and its connection to the community. https://youtu.be/h7tesBwu7KA This initiative reflects more than a single distribution. It represents Niaz Support’s ongoing commitment to disability inclusion by providing customised mobility solutions that enable participation, confidence, and opportunity. A Brighter Future for Isra Ali

A Brighter Future for Isra Ali Isra is a passionate and dedicated Class 9 student with a heartfelt dream. She aspires to one day become a Deputy Commissioner, aiming to serve her community and bring about positive change. For Isra, education isn’t just about going to school it’s a gateway to new opportunities, a way to take on responsibility, and an incredible chance to make a real difference in people’s lives. Along with her studies, Isra enjoys playing football and badminton. These activities give her energy and motivation, helping her stay focused and confident as she works toward her goals. Her dedication in both academics and sports shows the spirit of a young student who is determined to build a strong future. Isra belongs to a family from Booni in Chitral, where support and resilience have helped them face many challenges. Her mother, Hajira Bibi, has always stood beside her with encouragement and care. However, life changed dramatically for the family in 2010 when Isra’s father, Talik, suffered a severe spinal injury. The accident left him permanently disabled and unable to continue his work as before. The impact of this injury brought many difficulties for the family. Medical expenses increased, and managing daily responsibilities became more demanding. As time passed, continuing Isra’s education began to feel like an overwhelming challenge. For families where a parent lives with a disability, maintaining educational opportunities for their children can often become one of the most difficult struggles. Oshikandaas, like many villages in Gilgit-Baltistan, is located in a challenging geographical region characterized by steep, mountainous terrain. The harsh landscape and limited infrastructure make access to essential services and support a formidable task. Despite these difficulties, Niaz Support, with the invaluable support of its donors, successfully navigated these obstacles to reach the village and deliver the much-needed wheelchairs. The delivery of these wheelchairs was more than a logistical success; it was a lifeline for individuals with disabilities who had previously struggled with severe mobility challenges. Each wheelchair was meticulously customized to match the specific body measurements and needs of its recipient, ensuring maximum comfort and usability. Arisha is a fifth grade student with a simple but powerful dream. One day, she wants to become a doctor so she can treat people who are sick and help those who are suffering. Even at a young age, she believes that caring for others is one of the most meaningful things a person can do. But Arisha’s journey toward that dream has not been easy. Nearly seven years ago, her father was involved in a serious motorcycle accident that left him in a coma for a long time. It was an incredibly painful and uncertain period for the entire family. By the grace of God, he eventually regained consciousness, but he still requires continuous care and support. Before the accident, her father worked as an electrician and ran a small shop where he handled wiring and electrical work. His hard work supported the family and helped cover their daily needs. After the accident, however, the shop had to close and the family’s financial situation became extremely difficult. Continuing Arisha’s education began to feel uncertain. Despite these challenges, Arisha never stopped believing in her dream of studying and one day becoming a doctor. Her journey reflects the importance of education for the children of persons with disabilities. When a parent faces disability or a life changing medical condition, it is often the children whose future becomes most vulnerable. Ensuring that these children continue their education can transform not only their lives but the future of entire families. https://youtu.be/5N3ow_FqQiQ At this crucial moment, support arrived that helped keep Isra’s dreams alive. Through the Subah Sehar Foundation initiative of Niaz Support, a scholarship was provided that allowed her to continue her education without the heavy burden of financial stress. For Isra and her family, this opportunity brought reassurance and renewed confidence in her future. As a social enterprise committed to empowerment through learning, Niaz Support continues to strengthen education for the children of persons with disabilities. By supporting students like Isra, the organization demonstrates why it is widely recognized as a top organisation for persons with disabilities. Through its initiatives, it ensures that capable and ambitious students receive the support they need to remain in school and continue pursuing their aspirations. Isra’s mother, Hajira Bibi, expresses deep gratitude for the opportunity that has allowed her daughter to keep studying. For the family, this support represents encouragement and belief in Isra’s potential. It reminds them that education can still remain within reach, even during the most challenging times. Isra herself understands the responsibility that comes with this opportunity. She is committed to studying with dedication and determination so she can achieve her dream of becoming a Deputy Commissioner. She hopes that one day she will be able to serve her community and make her supporters proud. Her journey shows that when determination meets the right support, new possibilities begin to appear. Through continued efforts like the Subah Sehar Foundation initiative of Niaz Support, programs that promote education for the children of persons with disabilities are helping create a lifeline for the next generation. Today, Isra continues her studies with confidence and hope. Her story reminds us that a single opportunity can help a young student move closer to a future where her dreams become reality and where she can inspire others to believe in their own potential. Niaz Support Restored Mobility & Dignity at Nankana Sahib

Niaz Support Restored Mobility & Dignity at Nankana Sahib Niaz Support, Pakistan’s leading disability-focused social enterprise, continues to transform lives by providing customised mobility solutions that restore independence, dignity, and access. One of its most meaningful initiatives recently took place at Nankana Sahib, the birthplace of Baba Guru Nanak and a sacred site for Sikhs around the world. Every year, thousands of pilgrims visit Nankana Sahib in search of peace and spiritual connection. However, for many persons with disabilities, this journey can be physically challenging. From the entrance of Gurdwara Janam Asthan to the main site, there is nearly a ten-minute walking distance, a path that can be exhausting or even inaccessible for those with limited mobility. Recognizing this challenge, the Gurdwara administration reached out with a request to help make this sacred space more accessible. https://youtu.be/dCJKpiPCCK8 Niaz Support responded immediately. To mobilize support, a special fundraising concert was organized in Atlanta, featuring renowned singer Khuda Bakhsh, a finalist of Indian Idol Season 9. The event not only raised awareness but also inspired generosity within the community. “This concert is special because it is for people in need. Together, we can give them mobility and dignity,” he shared. The message resonated deeply. Members of the Atlanta community came forward to support the cause by gifting customised wheelchairs, while Khuda Bakhsh also dedicated the concert’s earnings to further strengthen the initiative. What followed was a powerful demonstration of commitment. In less than 40 days, Niaz Support successfully delivered multiple customised wheelchairs to Gurdwara Janam Asthan in Nankana Sahib, directly addressing the needs highlighted by the administration. These were not standard wheelchairs. Each one was carefully customised to fit the individual’s size and physical requirements, ensuring comfort, posture support, safety, and long-term usability. This approach reflects Niaz Support’s belief that mobility solutions must be tailored, not generic. For many visitors with disabilities, this marked a life-changing moment. For the first time, they were able to move freely, complete their spiritual journey, and experience the Gurdwara without struggle. The impact extended far beyond mobility. Gratitude, prayers, and heartfelt emotions filled the environment. For the community, these wheelchairs became a symbol of compassion, unity, and shared humanity. This initiative also stands as a powerful example of interfaith harmony in Pakistan, where a Muslim-led organization stepped forward to serve a sacred Sikh site, reinforcing a message that goes beyond boundaries. Humanity comes first. As Niaz Support continues its journey, more lives will be touched, more barriers will be removed, and more stories of hope will emerge, driven by a commitment to inclusion, dignity, and meaningful impact.
