Mominah’s Story: Designing Her Future with Her Feet

Momina’s Story: Designing Her Future with Her Feet Before Momina became a graphic designer, she was a little girl in Khewra watching other children enter classrooms that had no place prepared for her. Cerebral palsy had changed the way her body moved, but it had not touched her curiosity, intelligence or desire to learn. When no suitable school welcomed her, her home became her classroom and her family became the bridge between her and the future she deserved. Then, one day, she saw a pen and tried to lift it with her foot. To anyone else, it was an ordinary pen. To Momina, it was the first tool she could use to tell the world, “I am here, and my life has a purpose.” Her father understood what that moment meant. He left behind the family’s established life in Khewra and moved them to Islamabad, carrying with him the belief that his daughter’s future was worth every uncertainty. Years later, the same feet that reached for that first pen now move confidently across a laptop, turning ideas into colours, images and designs. When Momina is asked how she edits, she smiles and says, “With my feet.” There is no sadness in her answer and no request for sympathy. There is pride, confidence and the quiet strength of someone who fought for every skill the world can now see. At Niaz Support, Momina is not defined by her diagnosis or celebrated merely for trying. She is a professional graphic designer, a respected colleague and a gifted young woman whose creativity has earned its own place. Every design she completes carries a message more powerful than words. A child with a disability can have ambitions. A daughter can become the pride of her family. A person the world once overlooked can create work the world cannot ignore. Momina’s story is beautiful, but it also leaves us with an uncomfortable truth. Countless people are still living with talents no one has taken the time to discover. Their abilities remain hidden, not because they lack potential, but because access, education, mobility and opportunity have not reached them. Niaz Support exists in that gap, creating pathways through customised mobility solutions, education, healthcare and meaningful inclusion. Momina did not need anyone to create her talent. It was already within her. She needed someone to see it, believe in it and make room for it to rise. Somewhere, another child is reaching for a first pen. Another dream is waiting to be noticed. When the right support reaches that person at the right moment, it does not simply change one life. It gives an entire family hope and allows a future, once considered impossible, to finally begin. Restoring Movement, Redefining Possibility at PSRD High School

Restoring Movement, Redefining Possibility at PSRD High School Niaz Support, Pakistan’s leading disability-focused social enterprise, continues to transform lives through customised wheelchair solutions designed to restore independence and dignity. A significant milestone was marked at PSRD High School in Lahore, where students with disabilities experienced a powerful shift from limitation to mobility. For many children at PSRD, movement has long been a daily challenge. Limited access to properly designed wheelchairs meant restricted participation in school life. This began to change as customised wheelchairs, designed to fit each individual’s size and physical needs, were distributed, enabling students to move with confidence, comfort, and independence. The impact was immediate. The room filled with excitement as students explored their new mobility. “Now I can study by myself… I can learn on my own,” one student shared. Another added, “Now I can play and race with my friends.” Adding depth to this moment was Agha Hasnain Raza, host in the video representing Niaz Support, whose presence reflected the emotional significance of the initiative and its connection to the community. https://youtu.be/h7tesBwu7KA This initiative reflects more than a single distribution. It represents Niaz Support’s ongoing commitment to disability inclusion by providing customised mobility solutions that enable participation, confidence, and opportunity. For the students of PSRD, these wheelchairs are not just support, they are a pathway to independence, education, and a more inclusive future. Share Share Share Share

A Brighter Future for Isra Ali

A Brighter Future for Isra Ali Sometimes, a single opportunity can bring light into a home that has endured years of hardship. In the quiet valley of Booni, Upper Chitral, a young girl carries such hope in her heart. Her name is Isra Ali, and she studies in Class Nine at Oxford School and College Booni. Her father, Niyat Ali, started working in Saudi Arabia in 2004 and built his own hotel business through years of hard work. In 2010, however, a devastating accident severely injured his spine and changed the family’s life forever. His treatment consumed everything he had worked so hard to save, and he eventually returned to Booni with a permanent disability. Yet even during the family’s most difficult moments, their hope for Isra’s future remained alive. For the past fifteen years, Isra’s mother, Hajra, has faced every challenge with patience, courage, and an unwavering commitment to her daughter’s education. Isra has honoured her mother’s sacrifices by holding firmly to her dreams. She loves reading and writing and enjoys playing football and badminton, but her greatest ambition is to pass the CSS examination and become a Deputy Commissioner. She hopes to serve her community, support her parents, ease the struggles they have carried for so long, and make her school proud. Receiving the scholarship opened a promising new chapter in Isra’s educational journey, allowing her to pursue her studies with greater confidence, happiness, and hope for the future. https://youtu.be/5N3ow_FqQiQ The generous sponsor’s scholarship has enabled Isra to continue her education and focus on the future she is working hard to build. Isra and her family sincerely appreciate this support and pray that Allah blesses the sponsor with happiness, good health, and abundant rewards. Niaz Support helped connect Isra with the sponsor supporting her education. Share Share Share Share
