Shayan Habib’s Journey of Hope Through Education
Shayan Habib comes from the remote and beautiful valley of Passu, a place where towering mountains stand quietly over lives filled with daily struggle. In his area, reaching school is never easy. Schools are far away, roads are difficult, and harsh weather often makes travel exhausting and unsafe. Climate change has made life even harder—floods, land disruptions, and long hours without electricity have become part of everyday reality. For many children here, education often feels like a distant dream.
At home, Shayan carries a deep and silent pain. His father is paralyzed and unable to work, leaving the family with no source of income. In a household where disabled parents cannot support the family financially, even the idea of sending children to school once felt impossible. There were moments filled with uncertainty, where hope seemed fragile and the future unclear. Yet Shayan never let go of his dream to continue his education.
Everything began to change through the Subah Sehar initiative by Niaz Support. With the support of the Zeen Education Sponsorship Network, children of disabled parents are now being given a real chance to continue their education with dignity. For families struggling with no income, this support has turned hopelessness into opportunity.
Today, Shayan’s life has taken a new turn. He has received a scholarship as a gift of hope for his future and has been granted admission to the renowned Al-Amyn Model School in a nearby village. For him, this scholarship is more than financial support—it is a lifeline, a doorway to a future he once feared he might never reach. Every step he takes toward school now carries gratitude, courage, and the quiet strength of a child who refused to give up, even when life gave him every reason to stop.
