Muhammad Ali’s Journey of Hope in Dera Ghazi Khan: A Wheelchair Gift in Memory of Late Abdul Qayyum

In Dera Ghazi Khan, South Punjab, a young man named Muhammad Ali lived a life filled with hardship. Affected by polio from a very young age, he could not walk and moved by crawling, which gradually caused severe damage to his legs. Despite these challenges, Ali never gave up on living a life with dignity and self-respect.

He discovered his talent in tailoring and worked tirelessly every day to support himself. Even the smallest tasks demanded immense effort and courage, yet he faced every difficulty with quiet strength. Instead of complaining, he continued to push forward, proving that true strength lies not in physical ability, but in determination and resilience.

A turning point came when hope entered his life through a customised wheelchair, gifted by a generous family via Niaz Support, in memory of the late Abdul Qayyum. This thoughtful act transformed Ali’s daily life. As he received the wheelchair, tears of gratitude filled his eyes—tears not of pain, but of relief and hope. For the first time in years, he felt independent, supported, and less alone. This beautiful gesture stands as a reminder that even a single act of kindness can change a life forever, and that the legacy of the late Abdul Qayyum continues to live on through such meaningful contributions.
