Honoring the Legacy of (Late) Muhammad Zakaria Yousuf, (Late) Muhammad Taqi, (Late) Amin Kamdar & (Late) Maryam Kamdar
As part of the ongoing wheelchair distributions taking place across South Punjab, ten women with disabilities received customised wheelchair support aimed at bringing greater ease, dignity, and mobility into their daily lives. In Pakistan, many women with disabilities continue to struggle without access to even the most basic support systems, making everyday movement and independence extremely difficult.
For these women, a wheelchair is more than mobility support — it is comfort, confidence, inclusion, and the feeling of being seen and cared for. Each distribution carried a different story, but the same emotion: hope reaching someone who had been waiting for ease for far too long.
These customised wheelchair support distributions were carried out in the memory of (Late) Muhammad Zakaria Yousuf, (Late) Muhammad Taqi, (Late) Amin Kamdar, and (Late) Maryam Kamdar. Although they are no longer in this world, the kindness they left behind continues living on through their families, reaching people in the form of ease, dignity, and hope. Some legacies are not remembered through words alone, but through the comfort they continue bringing into the lives of others.
