A Brighter Future for Isra Ali

A Brighter Future for Isra Ali Isra is a passionate and dedicated Class 9 student with a heartfelt dream. She aspires to one day become a Deputy Commissioner, aiming to serve her community and bring about positive change. For Isra, education isn’t just about going to school it’s a gateway to new opportunities, a way to take on responsibility, and an incredible chance to make a real difference in people’s lives. Along with her studies, Isra enjoys playing football and badminton. These activities give her energy and motivation, helping her stay focused and confident as she works toward her goals. Her dedication in both academics and sports shows the spirit of a young student who is determined to build a strong future. Isra belongs to a family from Booni in Chitral, where support and resilience have helped them face many challenges. Her mother, Hajira Bibi, has always stood beside her with encouragement and care. However, life changed dramatically for the family in 2010 when Isra’s father, Talik, suffered a severe spinal injury. The accident left him permanently disabled and unable to continue his work as before. The impact of this injury brought many difficulties for the family. Medical expenses increased, and managing daily responsibilities became more demanding. As time passed, continuing Isra’s education began to feel like an overwhelming challenge. For families where a parent lives with a disability, maintaining educational opportunities for their children can often become one of the most difficult struggles. Oshikandaas, like many villages in Gilgit-Baltistan, is located in a challenging geographical region characterized by steep, mountainous terrain. The harsh landscape and limited infrastructure make access to essential services and support a formidable task. Despite these difficulties, Niaz Support, with the invaluable support of its donors, successfully navigated these obstacles to reach the village and deliver the much-needed wheelchairs. The delivery of these wheelchairs was more than a logistical success; it was a lifeline for individuals with disabilities who had previously struggled with severe mobility challenges. Each wheelchair was meticulously customized to match the specific body measurements and needs of its recipient, ensuring maximum comfort and usability. Arisha is a fifth grade student with a simple but powerful dream. One day, she wants to become a doctor so she can treat people who are sick and help those who are suffering. Even at a young age, she believes that caring for others is one of the most meaningful things a person can do. But Arisha’s journey toward that dream has not been easy. Nearly seven years ago, her father was involved in a serious motorcycle accident that left him in a coma for a long time. It was an incredibly painful and uncertain period for the entire family. By the grace of God, he eventually regained consciousness, but he still requires continuous care and support. Before the accident, her father worked as an electrician and ran a small shop where he handled wiring and electrical work. His hard work supported the family and helped cover their daily needs. After the accident, however, the shop had to close and the family’s financial situation became extremely difficult. Continuing Arisha’s education began to feel uncertain. Despite these challenges, Arisha never stopped believing in her dream of studying and one day becoming a doctor. Her journey reflects the importance of education for the children of persons with disabilities. When a parent faces disability or a life changing medical condition, it is often the children whose future becomes most vulnerable. Ensuring that these children continue their education can transform not only their lives but the future of entire families. At this crucial moment, support arrived that helped keep Isra’s dreams alive. Through the Subah Sehar Foundation initiative of Niaz Support, a scholarship was provided that allowed her to continue her education without the heavy burden of financial stress. For Isra and her family, this opportunity brought reassurance and renewed confidence in her future. As a social enterprise committed to empowerment through learning, Niaz Support continues to strengthen education for the children of persons with disabilities. By supporting students like Isra, the organization demonstrates why it is widely recognized as a top organisation for persons with disabilities. Through its initiatives, it ensures that capable and ambitious students receive the support they need to remain in school and continue pursuing their aspirations. Isra’s mother, Hajira Bibi, expresses deep gratitude for the opportunity that has allowed her daughter to keep studying. For the family, this support represents encouragement and belief in Isra’s potential. It reminds them that education can still remain within reach, even during the most challenging times. Isra herself understands the responsibility that comes with this opportunity. She is committed to studying with dedication and determination so she can achieve her dream of becoming a Deputy Commissioner. She hopes that one day she will be able to serve her community and make her supporters proud. Her journey shows that when determination meets the right support, new possibilities begin to appear. Through continued efforts like the Subah Sehar Foundation initiative of Niaz Support, programs that promote education for the children of persons with disabilities are helping create a lifeline for the next generation. Today, Isra continues her studies with confidence and hope. Her story reminds us that a single opportunity can help a young student move closer to a future where her dreams become reality and where she can inspire others to believe in their own potential.
