He is suffering from muscular dystrophy, and two of his brothers are also affected by the same disability. The family is struggling with poverty, and life has never been easy for them. Adil lives with his family in a rented house. His father works as a laborer to support a household of seven children—three sons and four daughters. All the daughters are going to school, trying to build a better future despite their limited resources. In this “poor man’s life,” disability in Pakistan becomes even more challenging, as families like Adil’s struggle daily to manage both financial pressure and care for disabled children.
Recently, Adil received his first customised wheelchair, which brought a new sense of relief and independence into his life.
