Muqadas Adnan, a 9-year-old student of Grade 4 at Laureate Group of Schools, carries a beautiful dream in her heart — she wants to become a teacher one day. Behind her innocent smile is a story of courage, sacrifice, and hope. Both of her parents are living with polio, and every day is a struggle for the family. Yet, despite their physical challenges and financial hardships, they never stopped believing in the power of education. They continued to encourage Muqadas to study, hoping she would build a future brighter than their own.
There were times when poverty threatened to interrupt her education. The burden of school expenses became difficult for the family to manage, and the fear of losing her dream slowly grew. But in the middle of these hardships, kindness arrived as a ray of hope. A scholarship gifted by Huma Aslam changed Muqadas’s life and gave her family renewed strength and relief.
