In Bahawalpur, South Punjab, two elderly men, Mukhtar and Gulzar, carry painful yet inspiring stories shaped by hardship, labor, and poverty. Mukhtar worked as a laborer all his life. One day, he met a serious accident when he fell down the stairs, which caused a spinal cord injury and left him completely dependent on others. Gulzar, a skilled mason, suffered a stroke that left him paralyzed. Both men, once strong earners for their families, faced severe challenges in their old age due to disability and poverty in Pakistan.
