Breaking Barriers Through Education: Shanza’s Story

Shanza is a respectful and hardworking young girl with a dream of becoming a doctor. Her family has faced many difficult challenges over the years, yet her determination to continue her education remains strong. Her father’s life changed after an incorrect eye surgery in 2006, which gradually affected his vision until he became completely blind in 2014. Despite this painful setback, he continued working as a laborer in a textile mill to support his family. Later, with limited means, he relied on a small EOBI pension and also set up a weighing machine in a local park to earn a modest income for his three children.

The family’s hardships increased further when Shanza’s father suffered a serious fall that caused a spinal cord injury, leaving him unable to work. With no stable source of income and rising medical expenses, the household continues to face severe financial difficulties. Shanza’s mother, a devoted housewife, continues to care for her husband and children with patience and strength. Despite these challenges, Shanza has not given up on her studies or her dream.

With the generous support of a kind donor through Subah Sehar, Niaz Support’s education initiative, Shanza has secured admission to the renowned Glorious School System, Rawalpindi, in Grade 5. She is receiving complete educational assistance, including her school uniform, books, learning materials, and health insurance, ensuring that her studies continue without interruption. Today, Shanza is moving forward with renewed hope, confidence, and determination as she takes meaningful steps toward her dream of becoming a doctor and serving others one day.
