A Gift of Mobility and Joy from Tariqs'

In the northwestern region of Lower Chitral, the Niaz Support team set out for Garam Chashma carrying a very special gift. After travelling along difficult roads, the team reached a small home where a customised wheelchair awaited a twelve-year-old girl. Bright, talkative, and playful, she has a wonderful sense of humour that makes everyone around her smile. Meeting her was a joyful experience, especially when she sat in her new wheelchair, began moving it by herself, and beamed with happiness.

Although her physical condition has limited her mobility, it has never diminished her spirit, curiosity, or enthusiasm for life. She loves playing games on the phone and even learned Urdu through it. Physiotherapy had previously improved her condition, but financial hardship made regular treatment difficult for her family to continue. Her father took her to several hospitals for examinations, treatment, and an MRI, yet limited income and the lack of consistent support at home eventually interrupted her therapy. Now, with her new wheelchair, she has gained greater independence, and it feels as though her cheerful little world has finally found its own pace.

Our heartfelt gratitude goes to Tariqs’ for gifting this beautiful, customised wheelchair. In a remote and underserved area where essential mobility equipment can be extremely difficult to obtain, their generosity has brought freedom, confidence, and immense happiness into a young girl’s life. May Allah accept this noble act, bless Tariqs’ and their family abundantly, and return their kindness in the form of countless blessings, ease, and joy. Ameen.
