She Sewed Through the Pain Until Hope Arrived: Fozia’s Journey in DG Khan with Hamza Khalil

In the quiet corners of Dera Ghazi Khan, South Punjab, lives Fozia—a young girl born with polio, growing up in a society where disability in Pakistan is often misunderstood and overlooked. From an early age, she faced barriers that made even the simplest movements a daily struggle. Yet behind her quiet life was a determined heart, holding on to dreams that the world around her could not easily see.

Fozia is a skilled tailor. Through stitching dresses, she has found both purpose and dignity. However, her physical condition and short height often made her work extremely challenging, turning every task into an exhausting effort. Despite this, she continued to work with patience and resilience, proving that ability is not defined by physical strength alone, but by determination and will.

With the support of Niaz Support and the generous donor Hamza Khalil, Fozia received a customized wheelchair designed for her needs. This support transformed her life, giving her independence and relief in her daily routine. Today, she continues her work with renewed confidence, and in quiet moments, she offers heartfelt silent prayers for the donor whose kindness changed her life. Her story stands as a powerful reminder that one act of compassion can restore dignity, hope, and purpose.
