Sheba Aziz’s Dream to Serve Humanity Through Education and Inclusion
Sheba Aziz, a young girl from Chitral, speaks about her future with quiet confidence. “I am very happy to receive this scholarship. My dream is to become a nurse one day and serve humanity.” Her words reflect more than a career goal—they show a deep sense of purpose shaped by compassion and a desire to give back. For Sheba, education is not just a pathway forward; it is her way of contributing to a more caring and inclusive world.
Her aspiration is closely connected to her lived experiences. Growing up with her father, Rehmat Aziz, who lives with hearing difficulties, Sheba has learned patience, empathy, and responsibility from an early age. These qualities have inspired her to pursue a profession that supports others with dignity. Her story highlights the importance of inclusive education for children of persons with disabilities.
Rehmat Aziz’s journey as a father is defined by quiet strength and unwavering commitment. Despite communication barriers, his bond with Sheba is built on understanding and trust. He has always encouraged his children to stay focused on their studies, believing that education opens doors that once seemed unreachable. His pride in Sheba’s determination is evident as he continues to support her ambitions.
Providing for his family has never been simple. Limited work opportunities due to his hearing challenges make maintaining a steady income difficult. Managing school expenses for three children adds to the responsibility. Yet, instead of letting these circumstances limit their progress, the family continues to move forward with resilience and determination.
Through Subah Sehar, an initiative by Niaz Support, Sheba’s educational journey has gained meaningful momentum. Niaz Support is a social enterprise dedicated to advancing education for children of persons with disabilities, ensuring they have access to opportunity, stability, and growth.
Recognized as a leading organization working for persons with disabilities, Niaz Support is also globally the first social enterprise dedicated to educating children of persons with disabilities, creating pathways for inclusive education and long-term empowerment.
Sheba expresses heartfelt gratitude for the support she has received, appreciating the belief placed in her future. Her father shares this gratitude, hopeful that more families will benefit from such opportunities.
Sheba’s story reminds us that when opportunity meets determination, it creates purpose. With each step in her education, she moves closer to becoming a nurse—someone who will extend care, compassion, and strength to others. Her journey is a powerful example of how education can shape not just futures, but lives.
