Niaz Support Continues to Strengthen Impact at PSRD with Custom Wheelchairs
PSRD High School in Lahore continues to play a vital role in providing education and support to differently-abled children. While the previous distribution by Niaz Support addressed an urgent need for mobility, the requirement for additional customised wheelchairs still remained.
During the earlier visit, the principal of PSRD highlighted that more than 100 students at the institution are wheelchair users, while only a limited number had received support. This clearly indicated that further assistance was necessary to ensure that more children could benefit from improved mobility and independence.
Responding to this need, Niaz Support once again collaborated to extend its support to PSRD. In this recent distribution, with the support of the Damani Foundation, an additional 25 customised wheelchairs were provided to students.
This second phase was not a separate initiative, but a continuation of the same commitment towards disability inclusion and social impact Pakistan.
As the distribution took place, the environment at the school reflected a sense of familiarity and comfort. Students who had previously received wheelchairs appeared more confident and engaged, while those receiving them for the first time expressed visible excitement.
There were moments of happiness across the room as children interacted with each other, some immediately trying their new customised wheelchairs, while others shared their reactions with classmates. The setting was not only about distribution, but also about creating a more inclusive and supportive environment within the school.

This latest distribution at PSRD reflects an ongoing journey. While the first phase addressed an immediate gap, this second phase has further strengthened access to mobility for students who were still waiting.
