Kashifa Ali’s Inspiring Story of Education for Children of Persons with Disabilities by Niaz Support
Kashifa Ali is a 7th-grade student from Chitral with a powerful dream — she wants to become a doctor. Her life has not been easy. Both of her parents live with disabilities, which makes it difficult for them to work and support the family. Despite these challenges, Kashifa has never given up on her education.
She loves learning and continues to work hard in school. Along with her studies, she actively participates in sports like tennis, football, and volleyball, showing confidence, strength, and determination in everything she does.
Through Subah Sehar, an initiative by Niaz Support, Kashifa received a scholarship that allows her to continue her education. This program provides scholarships in Pakistan for children of persons with disabilities, ensuring that financial hardship does not stop a child from going to school.
Niaz Support, founded by Hussain Odhwani, is Pakistan’s first award-winning social enterprise and globally the first organization dedicated to educating children of parents with disabilities. Through its work in education, mobility, and empowerment, it is creating real change and opening doors for children across Pakistan.
For Kashifa, this support is more than just financial help. It gives her hope, confidence, and the chance to build a better future. Her dream of becoming a doctor is not just for herself, but also to support her parents and help others in need.
Kashifa’s story shows that when children are given the opportunity to learn, they can rise above challenges and achieve their dreams. Through education support and inclusive opportunities, Niaz Support continues to serve as a lifeline for the next generation.
